Inauguration of Centre for Judicial Archives

The Centre for Judicial Archives, High Court of Orissa was inaugurated on 11th January, 2025 by Shri Mohan Charan Majhi, Hon’ble the Chief Minister, Odisha in the presence of Shri Justice Chakradhari Sharan Singh, Chief Justice, High Court of Orissa, Shri Prithiviraj Harichandan Minister, Law, Government of Odisha and the Companion Judges of the High Court of Orissa.

Inauguration of refurbished High Court Bar Association premises

The refurbished High Court Bar Association Building was inaugurated on 27ᵗʰ March, 2025 by Chief Justice, in presence of other companion Judges of the Court and the Members of the High Court Bar Association. The existing building was redesigned having adequate facilities to meet the requirements of the Bar members.

Inauguration of Exhibition Hall dedicated to Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das in the Centre for Judicial Archives

On the occasion of the foundation day of the Centre for Judicial Archives, the Exhibition Hall dedicated to Utkal Gaurav Madhusudan Das was inaugurated on 10ᵗʰ May, 2025 in the 1st Floor of the Centre for Judicial Archives by Shri Justice Harish Tandon, Chief Justice, High Court of Orissa in presence of companion Judges of the Court. The section depicts the illustrious life of Shri Madhusudan Das through colourful display boards

Inauguration of “Yoga Kendra”

On the occasion of International Yoga Day, the “Yoga Kendra” was inaugurated on 21ˢᵗ June, 2025 in the premises of the High Court Guest House by the Chief Justice in presence of other companion Judges of the Court. The purpose of “Yoga Kendra” is to provide a dedicated facility for visitors and guests to practice Yoga.

Inauguration of Halls of Judges’ Library

Hall No. 2 & 3 of the refurbished Judges’ Library were inaugurated on 1ˢᵗ July, 2025, by the Chief Justice in presence of other companion Judges of the Court. Both the halls are created adequate space for keeping more number of books in the library for use of both Bar and Bench.
